Sterling Scholar Runner-up- Jackson Keyes - Monticello - English

Jackson Keyes - The Runner-up has been a sports writer and editor at the local paper for the past two years. He has a passion for writing, especially about America's Past Time - Baseball. He is a member of the National Honor Society and has had several leadership positions throughout his years in High School. Always willing to lift other students, he has tutored 7th grade students on writing skills where he could help develop their talents. He has been in charge of the annual clean-up service project for the town and has coached several little league teams. The runner-up from Monticello High School is Jackson Keyes, the son of Josh and Stephnie Keyes.
