School Board approves annual budget
Members of the San Juan School Board approved an increase in staff compensation for travel lunches to $14. The move was made after a discussion to match the fee waiver students receive for each meal.
Members of the board also approved annual responses to formally submitted suggestions and comments to improve the education of Native American Students and provide equitable access to programs, services and activities.

Members of the board received an update on capital improvements in the district. Staff reports work is underway on the Navajo Mountain High HVAC system update. The Montezuma Creek Elementary School playground upgrade may close the playground during the school year for two weeks. Dirt is also moving at the site for the new Blanding Elementary School with all the dirt work possibly done by mid-July
