Plans for new Blanding school to be revealed

The San Juan School District is hosting a public forum to share an update on the new Blanding Elementary School on January 22.
The meeting will be at 5:30 pm at the San Juan High auditorium.
The forum will include an update from the design team, addressing costs and funding of the project and an opportunity for public input.
The district plans to stream and record the meeting.
Blanding Elementary School has the largest student population in the district
The school site is on an undeveloped lot on the southwest corner of 800 N and 100 W. 
The December school board meeting included an update from the design team with renderings of the school and a possible layout of the campus.
