PUBLIC NOTICE
BOARD OF EDUCATION MEETING & Public Hearing
Please be informed that the San Juan School District Board of Education will hold its board meeting on Tuesday, November 10, 2026 at LaSal Elementary School in LaSal, UT and by Virtual Broadcast. A link to the broadcast can be found at www.sjsd.org the day of the meeting.
The Work Session and approval of the agenda will begin at 3:00 p.m. with school/department presentations at 4:00 p.m. Closed sessions may be held, if needed, during the meeting.
Public are welcome to attend starting at 3:00 p.m., for all open sessions.
PUBLIC HEARING and COMMENT Session regarding School Closure Study for LaSal Elementary School will be held on November 10, 2026 starting at 6:15 pm. If necessary, the regular board meeting will be suspended to complete the School Closure Study Hearing. Action on this item will be considered at the regularly scheduled Board Meeting on December 15, 2026.
The Public Comments, Consent Agenda and Action Items are scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. To submit public comment electronically, please email publiccomment@sjsd.org and note in the subject line “Public Comment” or you may comment in-person.
An agenda for the board meeting will be posted at the district office and on San Juan School
District’s web site when it is available. The agenda is also posted in a public place at each school in the district.
The Board authorizes its meetings to be held through electronic means for individual board members pursuant to district policy 2270.5. Electronic means may include communications by telephone, telecommunications, computer, or similar methods of remote communication. One or more board members may elect to attend this meeting through electronic means.
