Academic All State 2026 Spring: Marlee Mack Monticello Track & Field

Head Coach Jeff Hunt: “When Marlee moved over from Colorado two years ago you could see the incredible athletic ability that led her to four individual state titles, several school records, and a state record.
“What most people didn’t see is that she came with a perfect GPA which included several college classes, academic prowess, and a heart of gold.
“One example of having a heart of gold is when she was the promenade partner of one of our special-needs students.
“There are so many other things she could have done with her time, but it meant the world to that student and will have a lifelong impact on other people.
“At practice as well, she was just as much an assistant coach as she was an athlete. She would load equipment, get practice started, and even put her arms around others for encouragement.
“The world is a better place because Marlee Mack is a part of it.”
