Academic All State 2026 Spring: Kooper Nielson Monticello Track & Field and Golf

Head Track & Field Coach Jeff Hunt: “What else can be said about Kooper that hasn’t already been said? He has turned out to be one of my personal heroes.
“One of the most important qualities Kooper has is that he expects to do well in everything. There are so many things he does well, it’s no wonder he expects excellence.
“Earlier this year while he was working on his Sterling Scholar portfolio, I was amazed at all the things he was able to accomplish, not just academically or athletically but in the community.
“All the service projects, the humanitarian trip to Central America, the times he pushed himself to be better at whatever he does. That is the mark of a great leader, student, and athlete.”
