Easter week events in San Juan County

A host of Easter season services are planned in San Juan County.
Monticello Easter Egg Hunt will be held in Monticello on Saturday, March 31 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Canyon Country Discovery Center, 1117 North Main Street.

An Easter Egg hunt will be held at Bluff Fort at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 31. Bring your own basket!
St. Joseph Catholic Church in Monticello will hold a Sunday Mass at noon on April 1.
The First Baptist Church in Monticello will hold a breakfast at 8:30 a.m., Sunday School at 9:45 a.m., and worship service at 11 a.m. There will be an egg hunt for the kids. The church is located at 116 East 500 North.
Easter week events at St. Christopher Mission in Bluff includes a Good Friday Liturgy at 7 p.m.
A Sunday Sunrise Service will take place one mile east of the church on Hwy 162 (old footbridge turnoff), followed by breakfast at St. Christopher’s community center. There are services at 10 a.m., with an Easter Egg hunt following.
St. John Church in Oljato will host a 10 a.m. service, followed by an Easter meal.
St. John Church in Montezuma Creek will hold “Maunday Thursday” at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 29. An Easter Vigil will be held on Saturday, March 31 at 6 p.m.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will hold General Conference sessions over the Easter weekend. Meetings are broadcast at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
