there were a lot of great athletes in Monticello. Of course, when you are in jr high, everything is cool. I agree with my friend Scott. Mike Adams was great and the first one that had a scholarship. I was there when he did everything against kanab, watched him knock down the whole Millard team to get into the end zone, and was in Moab when he ran 10 flat in the 100. He helped set a standard for all of us. But even though there were a lot of great ones ahead and behind him, I think coach Ray Odette brought out the best in all of his players. He was the key. Great memories, great friends, and a great town.
