Color the Town Purple comes to Monticello
Utah Foster Care invites the community to Color the Town Purple – Monticello, a free, family-friendly event on Friday, May 15 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Park.
The event brings families, neighbors, and community partners together to raise awareness of the need for more foster families and to support children in foster care across Utah.
Connect with Utah Foster Care staff, Division of Child and Family Services (DCFS) representatives, and current foster families to learn more about the fostering process and available support.
Enjoy a variety of fun activities, including purple snow cones, cotton candy, face painting, temporary tattoos, a fishing pond, bucket toss, sidewalk chalk, and pinwheel making. Complimentary food and drinks will be available for the first 250 attendees.
The “Color the Town Purple” initiative encourages communities across Utah to come together in support of children in care and to help highlight the ongoing need for safe, loving foster homes.
Admission is free.
