Shan and Mike Redd are Grand Marshals in 4th of July Parade

The City of Blanding is honored to recognize Mike and Shan Redd as the Grand Marshals of this year’s 4th of July Parade.
Mike and Shan have deep roots in the Blanding community and have dedicated their lives to building not only a successful business, but also a strong family and a stronger community.
Mike is the founder of Redd Mechanical, a company he built from the ground up through hard work, determination, and a commitment to quality service.
What began as a vision and a willingness to work hard has grown into a respected business that has provided jobs, supported local families, and served communities throughout the region.
While building his business, Mike and Shan chose Blanding as the place to raise their family. Together, they have exemplified the values that make small-town America strong — faith, family, service, and community involvement.
Through the years, they have supported local schools, youth activities, community events, and countless neighbors and friends whenever a helping hand was needed.
Their success has never been measured solely by business accomplishments, but by the relationships they have built and the positive influence they have had on those around them.
Mike and Shan have demonstrated a genuine love for Blanding and a commitment to making it a wonderful place to live, work, and raise a family.
As we celebrate our nation’s independence, it is fitting that we honor two individuals whose hard work, perseverance, and dedication reflect the spirit of freedom and opportunity that the Fourth of July represents.
