Blanding Rotary Club

The Blanding Rotary Club dedicated their Rotary Park on Tuesday, May 26. The park is located just behind the Creamy Delights Ice Cream Shop on 26 South Main Street. Many attended the ceremony, including the mural artist Kelly Pugh, who explained the mural and told how he felt about being asked to paint it. Tim Chamberlain gave a beautiful dedicatory prayer and asked that all who come and visit the park will have a good experience and leave feeling more complete. Spanning the entire two-building complex, this sweeping mural instantly transforms a mundane brick wall into an immersive, historical experience.  If you haven’t seen it yet, you’re in for a sweet treat (including the ice cream.) Courtsy photo
