Nielson said that the reason for the Walk-A-Thon was that “Katie and I wanted to encourage fitness in younger children as well promote cross-country and track in future generations.”

Both groups started at 10 a.m. and finished at noon.  Hiatt and Nielson were pleasantly surprised with the large turnout.
