Bar D Wranglers coming to Monticello

Blue Mountain Entertainment and Blue Mountain Foods happily present those crazy and tuneful musicians, the Bar D Wranglers of Durango, CO, Monday, November 10 at 7 p.m. in the Monticello High School Auditorium.

The Wranglers will perform their famous stage show with song of cowboys, gunfighters, and the Old West, plus lively instrumentals and comedy to please the whole family.

The Bar D Wranglers are celebrating 40 years of operation at the Bar D Chuckwagon  in Durango.  Over two million guests have enjoyed the great western stage show of the Wranglers at the Chuckwagon, and countless others have attended the Wranglers’ shows from coast to coast and around the world.  They have recently played at some of the world’s most well-known venues, including the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville and Carnegie Hall in New York City.

The performers include Cy Scarborough who plays rhythm guitar and does comedy.  Cy started the show in 1969.  Gary Cook is a two-time National Flatpick Champion guitar player, and sings tenor.  Matt Palmer plays a hot fiddle and sings baritone.

Joel Racheff sings, does comedy and plays upright bass, guitar, banjo, and mandolin; Levi Mullen sings lead vocals and plays guitar.

The Bar D Wranglers say they look forward to performing in Monticello November 10. Blue Mountain Entertainment says “thanks” to Doug Allen and Blue Mountain Foods for making this fun program available to the local audience.  Admission to the program is by Blue Mountain Entertainment or Kigalia season memberships or by tickets purchased at the door:   Families $22.50; Adults $9, and students $4.50.
