Overstock official to speak

Jonathan Johnson, the Chairman of Overstock.com, will visit the county. He will speak to the San Juan Chamber of Commerce in events on Friday, including at the Horse Head Grill in Monticello at 12:30 p.m. and at the Blanding Arts and Events Center at 5:30 p.m.
Johnson is part of Overstock.com’s growth from a small start-up to a publicly-traded company with $1.1 billion in sales and over 1,400 employees.
He received a bachelor’s degree in Japanese from Brigham Young University, studied at Osaka University of Foreign Studies in Japan, and received his law degree from BYU.
