Linda Lyman Bohn

Linda Lyman Bohn, age 79, died Monday, April 4, 2011 in Saint George, UT. She was born October 23, 1931 in Cortez, CO to Lynn F and Hazel Irene Bowen Lyman. On April 27, 1957 she married Saun L. Bohn in the Manti LDS Temple in Manti, UT.
Linda was raised in Blanding, UT where she loved to explore San Juan County with her family and friends. She graduated from San Juan High School in Blanding, UT.  She attended college in Texas and finished her education at BYU in Provo, UT. 
She worked in Mesa Verde, CO.  She taught elementary school in small communities in the Four Corners area. 
She met her sweetheart at a dance while working in Blanding, UT.  After finishing school and starting their family they moved to McGill, NV where they raised their children until moving to Logandale, NV in 1983. They made many lasting friendships wherever they lived.
Linda was very active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  She was a friend to many and enjoyed humanitarian service.  She won awards for her fine hand work.
Linda and Saun devoted their lives to loving and caring for their children and grandchildren and 44 of those years in service to their special needs son, Bart.
Linda always found time to play with the grandchildren and loved to have them come to visit. She loved her neighbors and friends, and they loved her.  Many felt as though they had became part of her family because of her unconditional love and care.
She is survived by her husband, Saun, of Logandale, NV; two daughters and two sons: Margaret (Mark) Wright of Mesa, AZ; Steve (Marybeth) Bohn of Columbia, MO; Saundra (Kent) Robertson of Ely, NV and Pat Bohn of Salt Lake City, UT;  14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Bart.
Funeral Services were held April 9 in Logandale, NV.  Interment was in the Logandale Nevada Cemetery.
