Julia Orvilla Williams

Memorial services for longtime Monticello, UT and Egnar, CO resident Julia Orvilla Williams will be held Saturday, June 13, 2009 at the City Park in Monticello, from 1 to 3 p.m.
Julia Orvilla Williams was born January 24t, 1938 in Pratt Kansas, the daughter of Orvil and Margery Smart.
She passed away in her sleep in the early morning hours of June 1, 2009 at her home in Monticello at the age of 71.
Orvilla had one sister, Cecilla Borchard of California. She attended Nucla High School and graduated in 1955. Shortly thereafter she enlisted in the Army and was honorably discharged in July of 1965.
She had a passion for photography, arts and crafts as well as March Madness.
Orvilla is survived by her sons, James Williams and s/o Betty Simonton of Grand Junction, CO; Gary Williams and wife Darlene of Egnar, CO; daughter Cindy Thompson and husband Everett Dungan of Centenial, CO; and grandchildren Gary Paul Williams Jr. and wife Tabetha of Lewis, CO; Dustyn Neely and wife Karen of Alamogordo, NM; Jeremy Williams and wife Naomi of Clifton, CO; Misty Williams of Dolores, CO; Derek Thompson of Dove Creek, CO; Kelsey Fitzgerald of Cortez, CO; and 12 great grandchildren, and several extended family members and close friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents and ex-husband Jesse Paul Williams.
The family wished to express their gratitude to Hospice of San Juan County, Sonny at the Roadway Inn, Mary Jane Theis, and closest friends and community of Monticello.
