Earnest Darrell Black

Earnest Darrell Black died Wednesday, August 27, 2008, at his home in Spanish Fort, AL, after a long illness.

He was born on September 11, 1924, in Blanding, UT,

Survivors include his wife, Vida Ann Black of Spanish Fort, AL; daughters Joan Carter of Ozark, AL, and Bunny Cooper of Mobile, AL; son Rick Black of Fayetteville, NC; sister Rowene Carter of Mesa, AZ; brother Byron Black of Provo, UT; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, August 30, 2008 from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne, AL.

A visitation was held one hour prior to service. Interment followed at Jubilee Memorial Gardens.
