David Marian

December 6, 1960 ~ November 6, 2009

David Marian was born to Si and Betty Hulligan on December 6, 1960 in Bluff, UT and adopted by George and Donna Marian that same month.

He spent his early years growing up in Duchesne, UT. In high school, he loved sports, actively playing baseball and football.

He married Kathy Eastland in 1982. They had a son, Michael Julian. David enlisted in the Navy and served in San Diego. David and Kathy later divorced.

David met Diana Cooper in 1999 while he worked at Mesa Verde National Park. They married in March, 2002 in Las Vegas, NV. Later that year, they moved to St. Thomas, Virgin Islands where he worked for the Park Service for two years as a concierge at Point Pleasant Resort, and as a concierge for the Marriott Hotel.

He loved the island, sailing, and his many friends. He died in St. Thomas on Friday, November 6, 2009.

David is survived by wife Diana; son Michael Julian Henrie; mother Donna Marian; twin sister, Nonie (Efrain) Romero; brother Duane (Gayle) Marian; and sister Dianna (Hal) Black. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Services will be held in the near future.
