Local piano students tested in AIM
Twenty-one San Juan County piano students participated in the Utah Music Teacher’s Association Achievement In Music (AIM) program this past month.
Students are tested in six areas: Performance, performing two memorized piano pieces; Technique; Sight Reading; Theory; Ear Training; and Creative Musicianship.
Coila Robinson, of Salt Lake City and president of the Utah Music Teacher’s Association this past year, judged the students on their performances and technique and was impressed with the students’ ability and preparation.
Teachers of the group include Trista Laws, Jody Fellmeth, and Denise Frost who wish to congratulate this hard-working group of musicians!
