Free performance for BYU-Idaho dance group

After a couple of years with no performance programs due to COVID-19, Blue Mountain Entertainment is pleased to make a re-entrance by presenting the BYU-Idaho Dance Alliance. 
Brigham Young University-Idaho Dance Alliance will perform at the Monticello High School auditorium on Tuesday, July 26 at 7 p.m. as part of their summer tour through Utah, Wyoming, Arizona and Nevada.
The doors will open at 6:30 p.m. As a gift to the community, there will be no cost for admission. Seating will be on a first-come, first served basis. 
Dance Alliance is the elite performance dance company representing BYU-Idaho. Members are selected by audition and represent some of the finest dancers on campus.
Each student brings many years of previous experience and adheres to a rigorous rehearsal and performance schedule.
There are 36 dancers in the company with various backgrounds and skills in contemporary, ballet, ballroom, jazz, tap, hip-hop and world dance styles. Each dance is choreographed to inspire and uplift viewers.
Since its creation in 1978, Dance Alliance has toured both domestically and internationally, with tour highlights including Russia, El Salvador, Panama, Mexico, Brazil, New Zealand, Fiji, Belarus, Ukraine, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, Peru, Ecuador, and Austria.
The company is excited at any opportunity to share its knowledge of dance with others. They are looking forward to performing in Monticello.
