Kim Henderson

My name is Kim Henderson, and I am running for a seat on the Monticello City Council. I was born and raised in Monticello. I graduated from Monticello High School. After graduation, I moved away for a few years, but I always knew I wanted to raise my family in Monticello. My husband, Curtis, and I have five children. We couldn’t have picked a better place to raise our kids. This is one of the reasons I am running for city council. I love Monticello and want my children to have the opportunity to live here and raise their own families. Managing the much-needed economic diversity and growth while maintaining our small town spirit is a tricky balance that I would like to be involved with if elected to the city council. Keeping Monticello beautiful and keeping access open to the places we all love is near and dear to my heart. It’s another reason why I am running for city council. I would love to chat with you about my vision for our great town.
