George Rice for Monticello City Council

Hello, I am George Rice and I am running for re-election to the Monticello City Council. I appreciate your support for my first term and I feel like we have made some excellent progress for our community. My priorities continue to be responsible financial stewardship, improve infrastructure, encourage business growth, and expanding our water collection system. I will continue to use my experience to identify areas that need improvement and work on way to get these items fixed. During my term we were able to complete some sewer line projects, where we were able to replace the old, crumbling clay pipe and we have been able to repave some of our streets. Obviously, there is still work to be done, and there always will be room for improvement. I would like the opportunity to serve on the council for another term and if you feel like I have done a good job representing you I would love to have your continued support and vote. Thank You.
