Diplomas for more than 200 high school grads

Diplomas will be presented to more than 200 high school graduates in ceremonies set to take place at five high schools in San Juan County. The commencement services mark the end of another year in the San Juan School District.
Graduation services for Navajo Mountain High School will be on Monday, May 21 at 1 p.m. in the high school gymnasium.
There are six graduates but two are attending boot camp and will not be able to attend the ceremony.
Retiring Principal/Head Teacher Orlo Knight will address the graduates. The valedictorian is Christina Boone.
On Wednesday, May 22 at 7 p.m. Monticello High School will have a graduating class of 40 receiving their diplomas.
Josh Keyes is the featured speaker for the evening. Justin Wright is the valedictorian and Devin Dalton is the salutatorian.
San Juan High School will present diplomas to 93 students on Thursday, May 23 at 5 p.m. in the high school auditorium. Dr. Joshua Nielson will be the guest speaker. The school honors a large group of summa cum laude graduates.
Graduation services at Monument Valley High School are on Friday, May 24 at 2 p.m. Thirty-five graduates will be honored with Micherlyn Nelson as valedictorian and Kandace Crank as salutatorian. Mac McCullough will address the graduates.
The week caps off with the Whitehorse High School graduation ceremony on Saturday, May 25 at 10 a.m.
There will be 35 graduates, with Kayla Atcitty as the valedictorian. Atcitty received a full-ride scholarship to Dartmouth University.
Rex Harvey is the scheduled guest speaker.
