Blue Mountain Hospital's New Year babies

It was a two-way race for the New Years Baby at Blue Mountain Hospital in Blanding. On the left is Angelena Holiday with her baby Aubrey Precious Staley and on the right is Vernell Whitehorse with her baby, Georgia Payton Whitehorse.  The babies arrived one after the other on January 11.  Aubrey Precious Staley was delivered by Dr. Mahana Fisher at 9:10 p.m. to Angelena Holiday and Delvin Staley.  Just two minutes later, Georgia Payton Whitehorse was delivered by Dr. Val Jones to Vernell Whitehorse. Both families were excited and eager for the beautiful, healthy girls to arrive. The competition was judged and it was determined that the title resulted in a draw.
