90th birthday for Phyllis Heaton

Phyllis was born June 8, 1922 in Salt Lake City, UT to John S. and Janet Swan Larsen. She is the oldest of four children, Lowell (deceased) and Gatha Larsen, of Rock Springs, WY; Homer Larsen of Bountiful, UT; Richard and Connie Larsen of Bicknell, UT and sister-in-law Myrna Larsen (deceased).
She grew up in Bicknell, UT, where she helped her parents farm and began a lifetime of gathering friends. She married James P. Heaton on February 28, 1943, in Bicknell. Their marriage was later solemnized  in the Manti LDS Temple. After their wedding, they lived in Bicknell for a few years before moving to Huntington, UT. Phyllis and Jim enjoyed a large group of friends there who were still gathering and enjoying each others company well into their 80s.
In 1957 with their young family, they moved to Monticello, UT where they raised their children.
Phyllis still spends her summers with her daughter and son-in-law in Monticello, where she enjoys gardening and visiting all her old friends. Phyllis and Jimmy spent 10 years as snow-birds before they bought a home in Washington, UT. Jimmy died on March 11, 1998.
Phyllis resides in Washington where she still loves to garden and spend time doing good things for her friends and neighbors.
She is the mother of five children: Danny Heaton (deceased); Diann (Warren) Rogers, of Manti, UT; Paula (Jack) Randolph, of Monticello; Becky (Joe) Peterson, of Price, UT and Roger (Shawn) Heaton, of Montrose, CO. She has 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
