Members of Monument Valley High School FCCLA (Family, Careers, and Community Leaders of America) reflected on the past year activities by hosting a year end banquet. Many of the members received recognition for participation in fundraising, STAR events, and leadership roles.

Ten members attended the area and state convention this winter. Receiving silver medals at state were Danner June (Life Planning Event), Hope Johnson (Life Planning Event), Faith Holiday (Career Investigation), Kimberly Joe (Career Investigation), Cheyenne Peterman (Career Investigation), and Shandara Holiday (Promote and Publicize FCCLA). Logan Cly (Illustrated Talk), Santianna Dee (Career Investigation), Savanna Bigman (National Programs in Action), and Kirsten Cly (National Programs in Action) received bronze medals.

FCCLA thanks San Juan Foundation (Ron Nielson, Doug Wright, Leann Parker, Rhea Laws, Daryl Jack and Pat Seltzer) for donating $1,000 to help supplement their expenses at the area and state convention.
