Walter Linstruth, age 66, passed away peacefully March 1, 2010, from complications of Alzheimer’s disease.

Although he was born in Royal Oak, MI, he spent most of his life in southern California, first in the airospace industry, and then as president of a communications software company he co-founded in Santa Barbara.

After retirement, Wally moved to San Juan County with his wife of 47 years, Sandra. His last big project was seeing their dream home built, a passive solar house on Eastland Road.

Wally is survived by a brother, Jim; his wife Sandra; four children, Lori, Christopher, Patrick, and Michelle; and six grandchildren. A private family service will be held at a later date.
