Blue Mountain Entertainment welcomes everyone to attend, free of charge, the annual Spring Gala, featuring local talent, on Monday, April 24 at 7 p.m. in the Monticello High School auditorium.

Jim and Cynthia Muhlestein and Anna Curtis have lined up a fun program for the always-anticipated show, and Casey and Jenna Olsen are readying their roles as Master and Mistress of Ceremonies.

A sampling of the planned entertainment includes Laura Butler’s vocal solo and Jerry Murdoch’s humorous cowboy poetry, also a piano solo by the talented David Fellmeth.

Shane Brewer will present a magic act, and there will be a youth choir consisting of students from Monticello High School.

Dance students of Lexy Veach and Ashley Adair will perform, and there will be a guitar and vocal duet by Lily Long and Anna Curtis.

A mixed ensemble will sing two songs from “Les Miserables”. The group includes Derryl Jack, Reid Chapman, Jim Muhlestein, Ben Nielson, Lyle Anderson, Liesl Francom, Cyndi Burtenshaw, Jill Pearson, and Lynda Boyle, accompanied by Jody Fellmeth.

The talented Muhlesteins – Jim, Dennis and Dallin – will heat up their trumpets when they play  “Buglers’ Holiday.”  Ashley Adair will perform a flute solo.

This is just a glimpse of the planned agenda, and there are sure to be several more surprises and local entertainers who will perform.

Do you want to perform a short, silly human trick?  If so, bring your prop (cards, hula hoop, juggling balls, whatever).  You could be selected to show off your talent!

Blue Mountain Entertainment anticipates a large and appreciative audience for this no charge show. See YOU there on Monday, April 24.
