Plodding along in Dry Valley recently, I happened on this beautiful little natural arch. I was particularly surprised because I hunted rabbits in this area for years as a teenager and never noticed it. The rock formation it is in is less than half a mile from U.S. Highway 191. Hundreds of unnamed natural surprises await those who take the time to explore the wonders of San Juan. Buckley Jensen photo
