Bradie Nelson, the son of Heather and Ryan Sterling Nelson of Dove Creek, is the 2013 New Year Baby at San Juan Hospital. Bradie was born at 8:09 a.m. on January 6, 2013.  Dr Kelly Jeppesen delivered the 7 pound, 15 ounce baby, who was 21 inches long.  Bradie is the first child of Heather and Ryan.  Staff photo

Three sisters delivered new babies in the last few weeks of 2012, keeping Dr Curtis Black extremely busy at San Juan Hospital in Monticello.  They include Ridge, son of Lexi and Mason Latham, who was born December 12; Sophie, daughter of Jymi and Bryan Adams, who was born December 28; and Tynlee, daughter of Haylee and Sterling Profazier, who was born December 21.
