Reed Sampson opened Fattboyz in February. Sampson has been working in the food service industry for several years, including catering concessions throughout the county. Reed says he carefully watched and learned while catering and determined that the area needed fresh, hot barbeque.
The smokehouse behind the restaurant is busy every day. Baby back ribs and pulled pork sandwiches are the hot item on the menu, which features a wide range of pork, beef and chicken barbeque, with sides and salads.
Fattboyz Grillin’ is open until 9 p.m. seven days a week.
