Part-time San Juan County resident David Bieber passed through the county on June 3 on a cross-country drive on his restored World War II Harley Davidson DWA 45 Solo motorcycle.

The trip is designed to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project. Approximately 75 people gathered at Veterans Memorial Park in Monticello to greet Bieber.
