February 16, 1937 ~ October 21, 2013

Cleo Christensen Stewart was born February 16, 1937 to Ray and Olive Melissa Jarvis Christensen in Monticello, UT.

On November 26, 1956 she married Howard M. Rogers, Jr. and stayed living in Monticello. They had two children, Howard M. Rogers III and Terry Lynn Rogers.

On July 11, 1977 she married John H. Stewart and moved to Moab, UT, where she spent the rest of her life.

Cleo was very active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings. Her favorite ones were in Primary. She taught some of the same children three different years.

Cleo also loved to crochet. She made many blankets and other items. Her greatest joy was to give away all the things she made. It made her very happy to see their faces.

She is survived by her husband, John, son Howard, daughter Terry Lynn (Mark), three brothers, two sisters, six grandchildren, and Mark’s children and grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, three sisters, and a son in law.
