For the second year in a row, Patty Lyman is the winner of the contest associated with 101 Ways to Experience San Juan County. Lyman scoured the length and breadth of San Juan County throughout the summer while amassing an incredible 253 points in the contest (there are multiple points available on many of the 101 list).

Patty lists riding the Hook and Ladder ATV trail as her favorite and added that she also enjoyed driving through Lisbon Valley and Eastland and exploring arches throughout the county. “This year, I really enjoyed seeing so much of San Juan County from my RZR.”

The events that Lyman did not complete is easier to list than the events she did complete. The list that she did not complete includes just four challenges: celebrate Pioneer Day, mountain bike, run a race, and Rainbow Bridge. For her efforts, Patty wins a dinner for four at a local restaurant and a deluxe jeeping or rafting adventure with Four Corners Adventure. The San Juan County Library also pitched in a Kindle Fire to the winner. The 2017 issue of 101 Ways to Experience San Juan County will be released in the spring.

The publication, a joint effort between the San Juan Chamber of Commerce and the San Juan Record, lists a variety of ways to experience the spectacular beauty and variety of San Juan County.
